The Alantic County Young Republicans are holding a mixer to support Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain this Wednesday at Chickie & Pete's on the Black Horse Pike in Mays Landing, NJ.

The Italian Preservation Foundation will host a twinning of its hometown, Hammonton, with the small picturesque mountain village of San Gregorio da Sassola, Italy from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 23rd.

The Hammonton Republicans are looking forward to this year's Puerto Rican Civic Association dinner. Hammonton's strong Puerto Rican community represents a major part of our diverse town. Last year's event was a lot of fun, and we look forward to this weekend's sure-to-be exciting dinner.

For the last two years, Hammonton has enjoyed no municipal tax increases. Councilmen Jimmy Bertino, Anthony Marino, and Jerry Vitalo proudly worked for taxpayers and passed both those budgets with the rest of Town Council. As Republican Councilmen elected in 2006, we have proudly served Hammonton over the last two years with every resident in mind. We've worked with the entire Council to bring historic growth to Hammonton, and fought for our residents when needed.

Last week we approved a budget that has no tax increase. Once again, we're voting with the rest of Council to approve this budget which won't increase your yearly tax burden. Besides keeping taxes down, we're proud of our record and stand behind every vote we've made over the last two years.

The Hammonton Republican Councilmen: Jim Bertino, Anthony Marino, and Jerry Vitalo are proud to suppport a 2008 budget that has no tax raise. This budget follows last year's budget of no tax increase which all three Councilmen also supported.

The trio addressed a vibrant Repubclican crowd at Tommasello's Winery late April kickstarting the election season in a tradition dating back to the Republican Club's founding.
